Did you know?
Did you know that there is a variant of the daffodil named after a hunter in Greek mythology that was so beautiful that everyone who saw him fell in love. However, he rejected all the love he encountered and was later condemned to fall in love with his own reflection because he did not return the girl Echo's love. He was transformed into a daffodil with golden and white petals after languishing in front of a pond after seeing his reflection in the water. It is from the same source that narcissism and the genus "daffodil narcissus" got their name.
